OUAN403 ANIMATION SKILLS : Storytelling - Nursery rhymes

After our first briefing, we were asked to choose a nursery rhyme to storyboard; I chose 'Pop Goes the Weasel' as I thought it'd be quite fun to put a gorey twist to it. 

I began by using a fineliner pen to sketch the storyboard on sticky notes for them to be refined digitally later.













Here's where I am with them so far:

They're not quite finished but they're coming along fine I think. To do the illustrations, I used a progamme called 'Paint Tool SAI' which allows you to use vectors etc. I sized them incorrectly at first so I've changed the canvas size since I first started. To me, they look a little stretched in the actual storyboard so I will probably end up resizing them again when I've completed the rest of the frames.
