Flow, Form and Force

Strike a Pose
For this part of the clothed life drawing brief, we had to draw a person sat or stood in the same pose for 20 - 30 minutes.
I quite enjoyed it, some drawings went ok, some went horrifically bad (the second one down, ugh).
I've learned from this task that I really struggle with my perspectives and I didn't even attempt to do a realistic face - it wouldn't have been pretty.
Like I said in a previous post; I'm not overly confident with drawing by hand, but it was fun to give it a go.

Rhythm is a Dancer

10 second poses drawings that explore someone flowing through a space. We were asked to produce drawings that explores an individual walking across a space using a mixture of medias.

Like a Puppet on a String10 - 20 second poses where the model demonstrates squashing-stretching, expanding-contracting movements

Ah, Push it!
Produce at least four drawings that attempt to capture the essence of your model pushing or pulling against an object. 5-10 minutes.

This as a whole was probably my favourite part of visual language. I enjoyed working in groups and thought it was pretty interesting to give life drawing a go finally.
I definitely need to work on getting my proportions right in future and paying more attention to detail.
