OUAN406 - Applied Animation - A Tale In The Sting - Discovery Final

Here is the final animation for my Discovery channel ident. 
I wouldn't say I'm 100% happy with it. It begins off alright, but you can see where I started to struggle with the animation of the panda after it had taken a drink, I couldn't for the life of me think of a good way to make it turn around and I had a hard time finding reference for it. Therefore, it just cuts to it walking away which does look lazy but I thought it would be better than a horribly animated turn around.
I think the music works pretty well for this, I did a search for oriental music on freesounds and found two which sounded pretty good - one being 5 secs long and the other 3. Because there'd be a 2 second gap in between the two, I added the sound effect for a cricket. I'm not overly sure if they'd be hanging about in a panda's habitat or anything, I just thought it sounded like it'd be alright - I think it is.
I'm really not sure about this ident, sometimes when I watch it I think it's okay, but other times I think it looks incredibly amateurish. I do regret doing it in this sort of style however - the beginning of it did get positive feedback in my crit but I feel it doesn't fit in with Discoverys previous idents at all. I know that it wasn't part of the brief to have them like their previous idents, I just feel like I should have done it more sterile. There's still a few glitches here and there which I'd have sorted out if I'd had more time. 
I think it was a good idea to be fair, I just found it difficult delivering it.
