OUAN 504 - Character and Narrative: Keep on Truckin'

Today in class, to familarise ourselves with Maya more, we were asked to make a truck.
As no one would really know how to do this off the top of their heads, we were given a tutorial to follow to guide us on making it.
I found the tutorial to be quite complicated to I struggled quite a bit on this at first but once I got the hang of it I was fine. 
I think the part of it I struggled with most was the beveling. For one, I didn't even know what it meant before reading the tutorial but the process of beveling was quite tricky I found. 

As I entered the session late, I didn't really have time to fully colour the truck but I will get round to it. I did however just make it a little party hat to show that I did know how to add colour using the Hypershade window and middle clicking and drag to assign colours.
