Sailor Moon Transformation Scenes

 
Since I'm on a bit of a traditional animation hype, I thought I'd share a prime piece of hand drawn animation from my childhood. I always loved the transformation scenes in Sailor Moon as a kid and I had no idea until recently that the series was created with traditional techniques. I always figured that because Anime is so detailed that it was all pretty much animated on computers from start to finish so its a pleasant surprise that my most loved anime is done by my new found favourite way of animating. I guess that I always thought that it was too neat and flowed too well without bloopers to be handdrawn so its really encouraging to see that it can be done like this.
