Heimlich

Heimlich is my favourite character out of anything ever. From Pixar's second full length animated feature film A Bug's Life, he's a very strong supporting character. 
Pixar have given a very good sense of weight whenever Heimlich moves, he seems to ripple and by watching you can almost feel how splodgy he is. 
As the film was made in the late 90's, the use of 3D for a full film was still relatively new. It seemed to be only Pixar doing them at that time to this sort of standard. 
As well as the main plot, the film also follows Heimlich's journey to becoming a 'beautiful butterfly' in the background and when this is finally achieved at the end of the film, it fills the viewer with joy.
I think this is what makes a good character; they don't need to be the main focus all the way through, but they're still a very important plot and is the favourite of many of the viewers. His voice is perfect for the part as well in my opinion!
