Our final crit for this project took place on 16/1/15 and we were asked to show what stage in the animation we were at. Luckily, I was more or less finished with mine at this point - however, it was unrendered so I had to show a playblast of my animation.
The feedback I received was better than I thought it would be to be honest. People liked the (unintentional) manic look in her eyes and compared her to Miss Piggy, which I was quite pleased about as it made me feel I'd achieved the personality I wanted Moom to have - spoiled brat.
I was aware I didn't have much leg movement in my animation so I was expecting people to pick up on this, but they didn't really.
I got a couple of pointers to think about and amend if I had the time:
- Make the ring box more visible when Moom shows it to the audience
- More power in the throw of the box
All in all, I was quite pleased how my crit went.
