The Ballad of Nessie
This Disney short is telling the tale of the Lock ness Monster.
I've always had a soft spot for animations that are narrated and have no character dialogue, there's something very nostalgic about it to me.
Narrated by Billy Connoly, I think this tale has been portrayed through animation very well. It takes a very solid character to be endearing to the audience without even speaking and I think Disney have done this very well.
I saw this before I saw Winnie the Pooh in the cinema (age 17, don't ask) and I actually enjoyed it more than the film.
The animation was traditional and lovely, there was only one character yet it told the tale perfectly and it definitely stuck in my memory. I think it's a wonderful little story.
