OUAN505: Applied Animation - Pre Production

So for this project we decided to go for a rapping wrap, which will educate students on how to but ingredients for cheap and make them into a nutritious meal. 
Since the target audience is for around age 18-24, we are able to add a little adult humour into it. 

Since the wrap raps, we wanted to give him a gangsta kind of persona. 
Which is why I added the sunglasses, trainers and medallion to this initial character design I did.  

The other two characters are the wrap's lady friends. 
The eggplant very much resembles a stereotypical prostitute, since we got into a bit of a phase of having the wrap as a pimp. 



This would have most likely been inappropriate. 


The celery is the wraps secretary and features in the beginning of the animation. 

I've given the characters a thick, black outline as I wanted them to all have the similar cartoony style. 

Here are the storyboards I drew for what we had of the story so far. Still need to think of the actual rap at this point.
