OUAN403 Apply Animation - Mind Map

For the Apply brief, we were asked to create a 5-10 second animation which portrays one of the following words: Surprise, Lateness, Love, Hate, Longing, Happiness, Fear

To help me think of an idea, I jotted down the words and potential stories for them;

After doing this, I decided I wanted to do my animation based on the word 'happiness'.
Whilst thinking of things that make me happy, I thought about my commute to college every morning. Having to get 4 buses everyday at peak time, its a rarity that I get a seat and that morning I actually did. It makes me sound really boring but that actually set up my good mood for the day!

I've decided on giving hand drawn frame-by-frame another go as I think it'll be a valuable skill to have after some practice.
